Make a difference at indoor printing

Designed for use in commercial print environments, the SC-P20000 is a flexible machine capable of running signage, point-of-sale, display graphics or high quality photographic reproductions.

The machine is built with PrecisionCore MicroTFP print-heads, which offers 2,400 x 1,200dpi resolution and a maximum printing speed of 17.5sq m/hr. These have been restricted to limit the amount of vibrations in the printing process, which in turn results in a more accurate print.

The SC-P20000 is capable of unattended printing thanks to a camera-based paper feed stabiliser and media inductive roller system. These allow for more precise feeding of substrates, thus reducing the need for operator involvement.

A new ten-colour set of inks has been developed for the machine, with photo and matte black among four black shades. Epson’s Colour Calibration is included in the box to make it easier for users to manage their own colour reproduction, while a transparent printer and roll cover makes it easier to observe stock levels and on-going jobs.

Adobe’s PostScript module and a HDD are both available as optional extras for increasing productivity. The latter means that print files can be managed from the machine itself rather than through a PC.
